Type the letters on your rack and Wortfinder shows you straight away every word you can make from them, sorted by points. A question mark stands for a blank. If there are open letters on the board you could play through, add them too: each one is combined with your tiles on its own.
With Extend a word you type a word that is already on the board and see which letters fit in front of it or at the end. With Pattern search you type the letters from the board and a question mark for each empty square, for example ?A??E.
Every word by letter and length, highest scores first: words with Q, with Z, with X, 2-letter words, 5-letter words and all word lists.
Short articles for better moves, from your first word to your last tile.
Type up to seven letters. The results appear right below, with the word worth the most points at the top. Play all seven tiles in one go and you get a 50-point bonus.
Type a question mark or a space, or tap “+ Blank”. A blank can stand for any letter and is worth 0 points.
This UK version uses ENABLE, a free public-domain list close to the North American one, plus British spellings from SCOWL and the extra two-letter words Collins allows (such as CH, ZO and QI). It is not Collins Scrabble Words, the list used in tournaments, which is not freely available, so now and then a word may be missing or extra.
The tiles and points are the same. The word lists differ: players in the UK and most other countries use Collins Scrabble Words, which also allows British spellings and many more short words, while North America uses the NASPA Word List. Pick the version you play with in the language menu at the top.
In English Scrabble A, E, I, O, U, L, N, S, T and R are worth 1 point each, D and G 2, B, C, M and P 3, F, H, V, W and Y 4, K 5, J and X 8, and Q and Z 10 points.
